Buenas.

Alguien tiene fotos de algun F2 que lleve rueda de repuesto?

Suelo hacer viajes largos y no me gustaría pinchar y quedarme "tirado" en mitad de la nada.


Mi idea es poner una llanta delantera (de las de 3.5") pegada a los asientos traseros fijandola de alguna manera fiable. El gato lo cogeria de algun leon de desguace, que va perfecto para el Smart y la llave de 15 la conseguiría por ahí.



Alguien sabe si es factible? Roba mucho espacio al maletero?

Pues Miguel, la idea es buena

Y lo de factible... pues depende de como lleves el asiento hacia delante cabrá o no, simplemente... De todas maneras el hueco ese que queda entre el asiento y el "motor" creo que sirve para llevar los triángulos o alguna cosa asi, que supongo se podrá poner en otro lado...

También podrías hacer como los 4x4 y ponerla en la puerta trasera
Porque otra opción sería ponerla en el maletero en un lateral, aunque perderias una parte de maletero un poco considerable...
Y otra opción que se me ocurre, ahora en verano viene mejor, es ponerla en el techo, en plan rally

Pillate la rueda y prueba a ver donde te gusta

El principal problema que veo es que habría que llevar dos ruedas, al tener diferentes medidas de llantas en los ejes.

El otro tema es que en los viajes largos es cuando necesito más espacio para llevar cosas y una rueda de repuesto me quitaría mucho espacio.

En un forTwo, creo que si se pincha en mitad de la nada lo mejor es usar el kit de pinchazos o tirar de grúa hasta el primer sitio en el que se pueda arreglar el pinchazo.

El tema es que una rueda delantera se puede usar tanto delante como atrás. No hace falta llevar dos, ya que son equivalentes.


Una goma en 145.65.15 o 175-55-15 no la encuentras facilmente en los talleres.

El kit de pinchazos sirve para un pinchazo pequeño y deja inutilizada la goma. Hay que comprar otra y si es un poco grande el agujero.... te quedas tirado


Tendré que conseguir una rueda de 3.5" y probar.

Y como decia ibizagti antes... en los Jeep Grand Cherokee, como la llevan dentro?? igual que muchos land rover u otros 4x4 que la llevan en el lateral del maletero, tendrán que llevar alguna homologación o algo raro? Alguien que tenga un 4x4 que la lleve dentro nos puede aportar algo de luz al asunto?

Siempre y cuando tu vehículo no supere los 2000 kgrs de peso máximo autorizado tu puedes llevar lo que te dé la gana sin necesitar ningún tipo de autorización, pasado ese peso necesitas una tarjeta de transporte.

Is There A Spare Wheel?

No. On a Roadster and a Fortwo, there is space but no provisions for carrying a spare.

So What Happens If I Get A Puncture?

You can either:

call smart assist if you are a member and they will come out and sort it for you,

call your breakdown service and see if they can help,

call a relative or friend to bring out a spare, if you have one,

sit like a complete lemon on the side of the road,

continue driving to the next available tyre place (this may ruin your wheel).

Of course, the other option is to carry a spare which will make life a lot easier.

What Do I need To Get?

A way to remove the wheel bolts, they will be 15mm if standard or 17mm if aftermarket wheels are fitted. Wheel braces don't usually go as low as 15mm so a ratchet and socket.

A jack. Most jacks will work fine. Check out the jacking page.

A spare wheel. Due to the fact that the smart range has a host of different offsets but the same PCD there are a few options open to you. We all know (or at least should do) that a rear wheel should never be put on the front because of the offset.

This means it is important that you carry a spare front wheel, the front wheel can be used on the back due to its deminished width.

OK, So What Front Wheel Do I Need?

Styleline, 4 inch wide with 145/65/15

Jetline, 3.5 inch wide with 135/70/15

Jetline, 4 inch wide with 145/65/15

Sportline, 4 inch wide with 135/70/15 or 145/65/15

Starline, 3.5 inch wide with 135/70/15

Starline, 4 inch wide with 145/65/15

Steel wheel, 3.5 inch wide with 135/70/15

Steel wheel, 4 inch wide with 145/65/15

These are all standard fitment on the Fortwo but will work just as well on the Roadster.
Remember, the front wheel can go on the back but a back wheel can't go on the front.

Important

If you don't have a torque wrench handy you should tighten the bolts to a reasonable tightness and check them every 30 miles. Try not to drive any further than you need to have the original sorted out. If you fit it to the rear of the car, try not to accelerate too quickly and try not to do more than 100miles on it.

Storage Of The Spare

In the Fortwo it is obvious, the boot is easily big enough to house a spare wheel.
Holding it down so it doesn't roll around is up to you for the time being.

The Roadster can be easy or hard. A spare wheel will fit in the coupe boot no problems and there is a chance one could fit laying down in the standard roadster boot but you may need to source one of the very narrow 3.5 inch alloys. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

If you look over on www.theroadster.net there is an information sheet about getting a spare in the front boot by cutting away some of the boot liner. Worth a look.

Hombre, para eso me mola mas la idea de llevarla en el techo además te sirve de parasol y de paso le pones unas palas y te montas un helicóptero

Miguel, si tintas la luna trasera y la pones en un lateral no creo que se note mucho, y además si puedes disimularla con algo de moqueta o recortando el plástico para que ocupe menos...

Haz pruebas a ver si hay alguna manera que te parezca bien

Yo creo que si la llevas en el maletero no es multable si va sujeta...llavarla suelta puede ser peligroso.

Permite poner el cubremaletero perfectamente y apenas quita sitio.
